i start with the new Gorillaz single featuring Daley entitled: Doncamatic; simply for the fact that they are my all time favorite and one of thee* greatest musical acts in the history of the world. EVER.... the Donca Matic was the japanese drum machine that literally started it all for the Korg company in 1963. fitting as to how another single they put out for the Plastic Beach is called Stylo. the Stylomatic is an awesome instrument. it started as a kids toy at first but it's used a lot today. i really like how the video ties perfectly together with the theme of the Plastic Beach story and videos. read the storyline of how the album came to be in the Complex Magazine interview here. let me add i love that magazine and Marc Ecko is the man.
